KingSlize Pizza Case

For Omar, the owner of KingSlize Pizza, innovation is at the heart of his business. When he launched his reusable pizza box concept with a €2 deposit, he was convinced that it would significantly reduce waste and increase customer loyalty

The conflict
Delivering pizzas quickly while respecting the environment and collecting the reusable boxes had become a real headache for KingSlize Pizza. Traffic jams in the centre of Mechelen only made the situation worse, and the vans, in addition to consuming a lot of fuel, had difficulty finding parking near customers.

Stress was growing among the delivery drivers, who not only had to deliver the hot pizzas, but also return with stacks of reusable boxes. The model was promising, but the logistics were becoming increasingly complex.

The solution
One day, Omar discovered the ONO cargo bike from Onomotion. This electric vehicle, capable of transporting up to 2 cubic metres and 200 kg of load, seemed to be the perfect solution to meet KingSlize Pizza’s needs.

With the agility of the ONO cargo bike, KingSlize Pizza could now easily weave through traffic, use the city’s bike lanes, and park right outside customers’ doors, without wasting time. No more returning to the van to pick up the boxes, it was all done in one efficient and environmentally friendly trip.

Results
Since adopting the ONO cargo bike, KingSlize Pizza’s box deliveries and pickups have been running smoothly.

KingSlize Pizza’s model has not only reduced waste thanks to its reusable boxes, but has also optimized its logistics, while reducing its carbon footprint. For Omar, the ONO cargo bike has become an essential partner in growing his business in an increasingly regulated urban center.
