“I regularly take taxis or VTCs to get to my appointments, but I always end up stuck in traffic,” <\/em>she says. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“And the prices skyrocket because of the waiting times in traffic jams.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre of Brussels, with its many low-emission zones, pedestrian zones, and scarce parking spaces, makes travelling by car even more complicated. Like many others, Sophie often found herself having to walk long distances after being dropped off at the entrance to the car-free zones. For Sophie, as for many residents and visitors to the capital, traffic is a daily problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Even with services like Uber or taxis, we still face the same problems: traffic jams, high travel costs due to the time spent in traffic, and often, you still have to walk to reach your final destination,” <\/em>she explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s when Sophie discovered the Hopper, an electric-assisted vehicle, offered as an Uber-type taxi in the center of Brussels. This covered electric bike, designed to carry two people, is a revolution for urban travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Hopper is like a taxi, but better,” <\/em>smiles Sophie. “It fits everywhere, even in pedestrian zones and streets where cars can’t go.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since using the Hopper, my trips in the city centre are much faster and less stressful,” <\/em>explains Sophie. “I no longer have to walk long distances or worry about traffic jams.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophie has drastically improved her daily life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I arrived on time for all my appointments without stress, and the prices are more affordable because I no longer have to pay for the time lost in traffic,” <\/em>she rejoices. “And what’s more, it’s an ecological transport, which allows me to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Using the Hopper as a taxi also brings a greater sense of security. Passengers feel protected, whether they are traveling during the day or at night, in sometimes less safe neighborhoods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I feel much safer than on foot, especially at night,” <\/em>Sophie explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
